Schedule Day shift, 4x10 hours (08:00 AM - 06:30 PM) Job Description The Physical Therapist will work in an acute care setting, with a focus on stroke and orthopedic cases. The role involves managing a high caseload while providing quality care, without the requirement for wound care. The therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Evaluate patient conditions and create personalized treatment plans. Manage a daily caseload of approximately 10 patients. Provide therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress. Educate patients and families on rehabilitation strategies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist. BLS certification and valid state license required. Experience in acute care and with stroke populations preferred. Familiarity with the Epic charting system.
