About the role

The Physical Therapist will work in an acute care setting, with a focus on stroke and orthopedic cases. The role involves managing a high caseload while providing quality care, without the requirement for wound care. The therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and create personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a daily caseload of approximately 10 patients.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification and valid state license required.
• Experience in acute care and with stroke populations preferred.
• Familiarity with the Epic charting system.
• Availability to work a minimum of 2 weekends per month.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10 hours (08:00 AM - 06:30 PM), 40 hours per week.
