Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital - $2,168 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with inpatient acute care experience and at least one prior travel assignment completed for a 13-week acute care hospital position with day shifts and no call or float requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient physical therapy evaluation and treatment in an acute care setting
• Occasional coverage support for PACU patient discharges on Fridays

Requirements

• Active MD PT license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute care PT experience required
• At least one prior travel assignment must have been completed

Qualifications

• Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
