About the Role
iDEAL Hire is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Lubbock, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy services to patients in a short-term acute care setting
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans at a 1:1 patient ratio
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and functional goals
- Participate in weekend rotation alongside full-time therapy staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
Requirements
- Valid Physical Therapist state license (compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist experience required
- Acute care experience required
- Ability to commit to weekend rotation as scheduled
- Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Qualifications
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
- Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations and fast-paced hospital settings
Schedule
- Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:00–16:00) | Onsite
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week
