Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care - $2,399 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Acute Care Physical Therapist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Walla Walla, Washington. The position starts on 10/12/2026, is full‑time (40 hours per week), and follows a day shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy interventions for patients in an acute care environment.
• Assist with patient mobility, rehabilitation exercises, and overall patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress using the Epic charting system.
• Float between units as needed, managing a patient ratio of 10‑12 patients per day.

Requirements

• Washington State Physical Therapy license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year acute care experience (inpatient rehab experience is a plus).
• Strong time‑management skills and ability to handle a 10‑12 patient daily load.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.

Schedule

Day shift: 5 × 8‑hour days (08:00 – 16:00). Weekends may be required occasionally.
