Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care - $2,326 per week
About the role
Join a hospital-based Physical Therapy team as a Travel Physical Therapist in an Acute Care setting in Lubbock, Texas. You'll provide evaluations, treatments, mobility training, and patient education while working with a diverse adult patient population. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a stable daytime schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform acute care evaluations and discharge planning
- Treat orthopedic and neurological patients
- Provide gait training and mobility assistance
- Work with post-op patients, including joint replacements and spinal/shoulder surgeries
- Manage care for patients with stroke, spinal cord injury, TBI, Parkinson's, and other neurological conditions
- Deliver strong documentation and patient/family education
Requirements
- Acute Care Hospital PT experience required
- Experience with orthopedic and neurological patient populations
- BLS certification
Schedule
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 5x8s, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts (10-hour shifts also available)
