Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care - $2,029 per week

About the role

The Physical Therapist will provide acute care services to adult and geriatric patients focusing on rehabilitation and recovery. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, implementing therapeutic interventions, educating patients and families, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, utilizing adaptive devices, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and families regarding recovery paths and safety measures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize adaptive devices and assistive technologies to support patient mobility.
• Ensure patient safety, monitor vitals, and provide necessary care during treatments.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Current NM Physical Therapist License (pending acceptable at time of submission).
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with the Epic charting system preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Day shift: 5x8 Hour schedule from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
