About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in an outpatient setting at Valley Regional Medical Center, Brownsville, TX. This is a 13-week travel contract position with shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The role involves providing therapy services to a caseload of 8-12 patients, focusing on their rehabilitation and health improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and health maintenance.

Requirements

• Active Texas Physical Therapy License.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• NICU and outpatient experience are a plus.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
