Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care - $1,822 per week

About the role

Travel Nurses, Inc. is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately at an acute care hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in an acute care setting
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Mexico
• At least one year of clinical experience in acute care settings
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills

• Proficiency in using medical software and equipment
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and protocols

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
