About the role

Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) position in West Sacramento. This contract travel role involves evaluating and treating patients with outpatient orthopedic injuries within a clinical setting. The therapist will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, communicate treatment plans, and report patient progress to medical staff.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• 8-hour shifts, days

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries
• Communicate treatment plans and evaluations effectively to medical teams
• Report progress to physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons
• Assist colleagues in identifying clinical issues
• Treat 14–16 patients per day (highly desired)

Requirements

• BS or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy
• Valid state license for the practicing state
• Minimum 2 years of experience practicing as a physical therapist
• Experience treating strains, sprains, and fractures
• At least 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
