About the role

The physical therapy professional specializing in inpatient care is needed in a facility located in Webster, South Dakota. This role involves providing outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility coverage in a largely outpatient hospital-based setting. Float rotation may be required to cover additional units or departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with treatment of individuals of various ages with diverse diagnoses and disorders.
• Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.
• Document patient information and educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and exercises.
• Demonstrate knowledge of current research and adhere to clinical practice guidelines.
• Follow safety and departmental protocols.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• No weekends or call responsibilities.
• 8-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Must be licensed in the state of South Dakota as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Knowledge of electronic charting systems like EPIC.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
