Travel Physical Therapist assignment in Fairbanks, Alaska. Start date October 12, 2026, duration 13 weeks, 40 hours per week on 8‑hour shifts. Employed through MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified travel‑staffing agency.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services.
• Provide direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
• Establish and administer individualized treatment programs with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction.
• Set realistic and achievable patient goals.
• Document and record patient condition and progress.
• Educate patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods.
• Develop a plan of care for each PT patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with successful passage of the NPTE.
• Graduate of an accredited PT program.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (or actively pursuing licensure).
• Current CPR certification.
