About the Role
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapist in Santa Barbara, California. This 13-week assignment offers a chance to help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy in a skilled nursing environment.
- Deliver interventions that promote functional independence, fall risk reduction, mobility, and safe discharge planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient-centered care and measurable outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings is required.
- Experience with restorative programs, transfers, gait training, and activity tolerance with older adult populations is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience.
- Experience with electronic medical records.
- Additional certifications such as Certified Geriatric Specialist (if applicable).

- Duration: 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
