Travel Physical Therapist - $2,757 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts and is an immediate travel opening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with the state PT board’s rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify the plan of care as indicated based on the patient’s condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of Physical Therapist experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply (up to 1 year preferred, with 6 months accepted for exceptional candidates)
• Current BLS certification
• State‑specific Physical Therapist license
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
