About the role

Outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation position treating orthopedic and potential neurologic patients. The work site is located at 520 West Ave, Norwalk, CT 06856.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation
• Provide patient and family education and training
• Care for special populations including: Oncology, Lymphedema, Amputee, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke, Total Joint Replacement, Orthopedic, and Neurologic patients
• Complete documentation timely and based on department guidelines
• Initiate discharge planning
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Active Connecticut Physical Therapist license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Experience working with patients with neurological conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Vestibular therapy experience

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 09/14/2026
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Shift times: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM Monday, Wednesday, Friday; 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM Tuesday, Thursday
• No on-call or floating required
