About the Role

Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient position located in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services primarily within acute care, acute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and outpatient settings. The clinician will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and assisting in patient care across inpatient and outpatient environments based on schedule needs. The outpatient schedule is created for the clinician; may temporarily float to inpatient or outpatient units as needed. Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility and handle evaluation and follow-up duties, typically seeing an average of 12-15 patients per shift. The environment is friendly, and team members, including physicians and therapists, are approachable and collaborative. Orientation will begin on the first day with one-on-one training with the manager, followed by computer-based training and supervised patient care. Clinicians are expected to take full patient caseloads by the third day.

Schedule

• 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Float rotation may be required, depending on schedule needs

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin Physical Therapist licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Must have at least 2 years of experience outside of school

Preferred Qualifications

• Inpatient experience
• Prior Cerner electronic charting system experience
• 3 years of experience outside of school preferred

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
