Travel Physical Therapist - $2,722 per week
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.
About the role
The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care, and establishing treatment programs with specific goals based on the patient's capacity and tolerance under physician direction. Responsibilities include documenting patient conditions, educating patients and families, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
- Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
- Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
- Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
- Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record patient conditions, and educate patients and families on physical therapy methods.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
- Graduated from an accredited school.
- Minimum one year's experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or proactively in the process of obtaining licensure.
- Current CPR certification.
- Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
