Travel Physical Therapist - $2,717 per week

About the role

An opportunity exists for a Physical Therapist Traveler to work in an inpatient setting, providing care in the Critical Care Unit (CCU), Acute Care (AC), and Day Surgery. The role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing tailored treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers on effective home exercise programs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement interventions to improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and overall function.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
• Deliver care across Critical Care Unit, Acute Care, and Day Surgery areas.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain strong communication for effective patient and caregiver education.
• Commit to patient‑centered care and safety.
• Provide holiday coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in Colorado or compact for Colorado.
• Minimum of two years of Physical Therapy experience; three to five years preferred.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Mandatory flu vaccination required from October 1st through April 1st.

Schedule

• Five 8‑hour workdays per week (40 hours total).
• Day shifts (8 hours each).
• Holiday coverage required.

Housing

Comfortable housing options are available, including newly remodeled studio and small one‑bedroom apartments for rent near the facility. Units are fully furnished and include utilities, Wi‑Fi, and on‑site laundry facilities, making them move‑in ready.

Pay

Pay is based on 8‑hour shifts and a 40‑hour work week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
