Travel Physical Therapist - $2,709 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Havre, Montana. The position is in an acute care setting, responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations. The right candidate should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience (1 year preferred; new grads encouraged to apply)
• BLS certification
• State-specific Physical Therapist license
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
• BLS, 5 years (per additional requirements notation)

Schedule

40 hours per week, 8-hour rotating shifts.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
