Travel Physical Therapist - $2,701 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Grand Island, Nebraska. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts, and is an immediate travel opening. TotalMed Allied is a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency that places therapists nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience; 1 year preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state‑specific Physical Therapist license
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
