Travel Physical Therapist - $2,700 per week

About the role

Primary responsibility will be in the outpatient setting, but as a critical access hospital and long-term care facility, care in these areas may be necessary at times. Therapist will be evaluating and treating patients.

• 13 week assignment
• Locals accepted at same rate
• KS state license OR compact license required (will accept pending KS license)
• 2 years of experience preferred
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in outpatient, critical access hospital, and long-term care settings
• Treat conditions including but not limited to:
• Body mechanics
• Cervicalgia
• Low back pain
• Post-operative cervical, shoulder, and spinal surgeries
• Spinal conditions
• Total hip and knee replacements
• Cognitive disorders
• Multiple Sclerosis
• Muscular dystrophy
• Parkinson’s disease
• Post-stroke rehabilitation
• Spinal cord injury
• Traumatic brain injury
• Provide home exercise programs and patient/family education

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required (2 years preferred)
• KS state license or compact license (pending KS license accepted)
• BLS certification
• Experience in one or more of the following settings: Acute Care, Outpatient Clinic, Rehabilitation Hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Travel experience not required
• 1 professional reference required

Unit Details

• Daily census: 1 patient
• Number of visits per day: 5
• Travelers may float to different units
• No specific charting system required
