About the role
Travel Physical Therapist position in Poughkeepsie, New York. Work site: 45 Reade Place, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Outpatient setting focusing on neuro, vestibular, pelvic, and musculoskeletal conditions including stroke, MS, Parkinson’s, weakness, and gait disturbances. Full rehab services provided (PT, OT, Speech). Approximately 8–10 patients per day. One PTA with own caseload; rehab staff are self-sufficient—responsible for bringing in patients, stocking supplies, and changing/laundering linens. No double-booking; time built in for documentation.
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts. Varying schedule between Monday–Thursday 7:00 am–6:00 pm and Friday 7:00 am–4:30 pm. Example: two later shifts (e.g., Mon & Wed 9:30 am–6:00 pm) and three earlier shifts (e.g., Tues, Thurs & Fri 7:00 am–4:30 pm).
Requirements
- State of New York PT license
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient experience
- Experience in neuro and/or pelvic therapy
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in both pelvic and neuro therapy
