Travel Physical Therapist - $2,657 per week

About the role

Travel Physical Therapist position in Montesano, Washington for a 16‑week assignment, 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts. Immediate opening for a licensed PT to work in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Handle billing according to facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with state PT board rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care for diverse patient populations
• Modify the plan of care based on patient condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred; new graduates encouraged)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state‑specific PT license
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for extended periods
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
