Travel Physical Therapist - $2,642 per week
About the role
Penn Medicine at Home is seeking a compassionate and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week local contract. The PT will provide in-home physical therapy services in Northwest Philadelphia and Montgomery County, PA, helping patients improve mobility, restore function, reduce pain, and maximize independence in the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations in patients' homes.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and mobility interventions.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Ensure compliance with all Penn Medicine, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Pennsylvania.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Physical Therapist experience (Home Health experience preferred).
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- Strong communication, clinical assessment, and documentation skills.
Schedule
- 13-week local contract.
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
- 40 guaranteed hours per week.
- 8-hour shifts.
