Travel Physical Therapist - $2,639 per week

About the Role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate opening in Montgomery, Alabama. This is a 13-week assignment with a start date of 09/28/2026, requiring 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift. The role is ideal for a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, though exceptional candidates with 6 months of experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.
• Oversee and supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting, adhering to facility guidelines.
• Comply with state-specific Physical Therapy board rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with Medical Center personnel and physicians to create a team-focused plan of care.
• Assess and recommend adaptive equipment as needed.
• Modify the plan of care based on the patient’s condition.
• Utilize Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks and documentation.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Active BLS certification and state-specific licensing.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods without difficulty.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
