Travel Physical Therapist - $2,625 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 14‑week assignment in Moses Lake, Washington. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply) and will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and executing plans of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill for services within the setting, following facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with the respective state PT board’s rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand and utilize adaptive equipment
• Evaluate patients and create a plan of care
• Modify the plan of care as indicated by the patient’s condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of physical therapist experience (new graduates encouraged to apply)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state‑specific physical therapist license
• BLS certification with 2 years of experience (as noted in the posting)
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
