About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 5, 2026, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient care and treatment sessions accurately.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in at least one state.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Current CPR certification.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
