About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 10, 2026, in Monterey, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Document patient progress and communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers as needed.
- Ensure all treatments comply with regulatory standards and insurance requirements.
Requirements
- Current California Physical Therapy license.
- Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Current CPR certification.
