Travel Physical Therapist - $2,568 per week

About the role

Travel Physical Therapist position in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, acute care setting, 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the setting following facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with the state PT board’s rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify the plan of care as indicated based on patient condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of Physical Therapist experience (1 year preferred; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state‑specific Physical Therapist license
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty

Skills

• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Proficiency in overseeing PTAs and therapy technicians
• Ability to use Medical Center computer systems
• Skill in evaluating, creating, and modifying plans of care
• Capable of providing timely and accurate documentation
