Travel Physical Therapist - $2,562 per week

Critical Connection, inc is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week position starting August 17, 2026, in Hazel Crest, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in acute and inpatient hospital settings
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Provide mobility training, gait training, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and case managers
• Document patient progress and outcomes
• Educate patients and families on safe mobility and recovery
• Work in acute care and inpatient rehab units
• Interact with high-acuity, medically complex patient populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Requirements

• Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Active (or pending) state PT license
• Acute care or hospital experience preferred (not required)

• Motivated, patient-focused Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Strong collaborative skills
• Knowledge of mobility training, gait training, and discharge planning

Pay & Schedule

• Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
