Travel Physical Therapist - $2,552 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Plains, Montana, starting November 9, 2026. The position is full‑time travel (40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts).

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following facility guidelines
• Understand and comply with the state PT board’s rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify the plan of care as indicated based on the patient’s condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of Physical Therapist experience (1 year preferred; exceptional candidates with appropriate background may be considered with 6 months)
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state‑specific Physical Therapist license

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
