About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services in compliance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy to restore function and mobility.
Responsibilities
- Screen, evaluate, and treat patients as appropriate.
- Develop and update treatment and discharge plans of care.
- Document services accurately and in a timely manner.
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and Rehabilitation Technicians according to practice acts.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to enhance patient care.
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an APTA‑accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT).
- Active state Physical Therapy license (or ability to obtain).
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs.
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. Assignment duration: 13 weeks. Start date: ASAP.
Pay
Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
