Travel Physical Therapist - $2,495 per week

About the role

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 39-week assignment starting on August 31, 2026, located in Arlington, Virginia. The shift is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Knowledge of common physical therapy modalities and techniques.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week, subject to confirmation. There is also a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

The schedule is 5x8 days, from 08:00:00 to 16:00:00, with a duration of 39 weeks.
