About the role
AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 31, 2026, in Waukegan, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
- Assess patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
- Active and unrestricted professional license(s) and required certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to clinical excellence.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per shift, on a 3x12 schedule.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to relocate to Waukegan, Illinois.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer software and electronic health records systems.
