Travel Physical Therapist - $2,482 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of inpatient rehab experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Level II Trauma Center in Reno, NV.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive evaluation and treatment
• Developing plans of care
• Providing rehabilitation services through patient discharge
• Direct clinical supervision of physical therapy assistants and rehab technicians
• May be asked to participate in program development and outcome measurements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical PT experience in an inpatient rehab setting
• Active Nevada PT license required; a provisional license is acceptable until the permanent state license is issued — license required if applicable
• BLS/CPR certification per AHA standards required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred

Qualifications

• Reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• RTO must be disclosed prior to consideration; time off will not be added to the end of the contract to compensate for RTO

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
