Travel Physical Therapist - $2,481 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Newport, Oregon. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts and is classified as a travel employment type.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience; candidates with appropriate background may be considered with as little as 6 months.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid state‑specific Physical Therapist license.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Requirements*: BLS, 2 Years; additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
