About the role

Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient position providing specialized rehabilitative care to inpatients recovering from conditions such as stroke, brain injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries. The role involves delivering personalized therapy to support patient recovery and improve their quality of life within a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting.

Schedule

• Days shift, 8 hours per day
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• 13-week assignment starting 08/31/2026
• Report time: 8:30 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative care to inpatients with conditions such as stroke, brain injury, amputation, and orthopedic injuries
• Work in a 50-bed unit with a patient ratio of approximately 1 therapist to 5 patients
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR)

Requirements

• Valid license as a Physical Therapist
• Current certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience working with stroke, brain injury, amputation, and orthopedic patients
