About the role
Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment.
- Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland.
- At least one year of clinical experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Skills
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR).
- Knowledge of common physical therapy modalities and techniques.
- Ability to adapt to different patient populations and care settings.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
