Job Description

The Physical Therapist will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and administer therapies to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disabilities following diseases, injuries, or loss of body parts. The goal is to help patients achieve their maximum performance in line with the Plan of Care set forth by the referring provider, adhering to standards established by the American Physical Therapy Association.

Responsibilities

• Congduct physical therapy evaluations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions to restore function and relieve pain.
• Document and track patient progress in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Float between outpatient and inpatient settings as required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapist program.
• Current, permanent NH license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of start date.
• 2+ years of experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings (preferred).
• Outpatient physical therapy experience and familiarity with EPIC EMR (preferred).

Pay Package

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
