Travel Physical Therapist - $2,458 per week
About the role
The Physical Therapist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs and physician direction. They will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address barriers to discharge, manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions, complete medical documentation, provide supervision and mentorship to students, engage in professional advocacy, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and utilize clinical reasoning to formulate suitable treatment plans and goals.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address barriers to discharge, including timely equipment trialing and training.
- Manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions efficiently based on patient care needs.
- Complete medical documentation accurately and timely in accordance with established guidelines.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to students within the program, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Engage in professional advocacy efforts and contribute to community events.
- Maintain professional licensure and adhere to discipline-specific regulatory standards.
Requirements
- BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
- Must hold a valid, current state license as a Physical Therapist.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is required; inpatient rehabilitation or neuro experience is highly desired.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
