Travel Physical Therapist - $2,456 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Arlington, Virginia. This is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week on 8-hour day shifts, starting September 7, 2026.

Requirements

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE
• Must have graduated from an accredited school
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure
• Current CPR certification
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, including direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation
• Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record patient condition, and educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods
• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient
• Provide skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient
