About the role
Physical Therapist Inpatient (PT IP) position located at a healthcare facility in Northridge, California. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services, including treatment for orthopedic, neurological, trauma, and other acute care cases. The position requires a licensed professional with experience in inpatient clinical settings to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient physical therapy services for orthopedic, neurological, trauma, and acute care cases
- Float to various inpatient areas as needed
- Conduct bedside swallow studies
- Work in diverse inpatient settings including trauma, neuro, and post-surgical care
- Cover assigned areas and potentially float to other units as required
Requirements
- BLS Certification
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state
- Minimum 2 years of inpatient clinical experience
- Travel experience preferred
- Licensure to submit
Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts, Tuesday through Saturday
- 40 hours per week minimum
- Start Date: 09/08/2026
- End Date: 12/08/2026 (13 weeks duration)
