Travel Physical Therapist - $2,437 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a position in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. The role involves overseeing supervising PTAs, supporting staff, billing, evaluating, creating, and modifying a plan of care for patients in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate should have 6 months of experience or be a new grad with appropriate background.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• BLS and state-specific licensing
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. No certifications are required before starting an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
