About the role
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract at a prison in Jarratt, Virginia. The position is 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients within a correctional facility.
- Assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and staff on rehabilitation techniques and injury prevention.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of PT experience.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia. Additional certifications may be required depending on the facility.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and a commitment to patient care are essential.
