Travel Physical Therapist - $2,416 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Rochdale, Massachusetts. The position is full‑time travel, 40 hours per week with 8‑hour day shifts.

About the role

We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Rochdale, MA. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines for the facility
• Understand and comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations within the state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience (1 year preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply)
• BLS certification and state‑specific licensure
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• ABPTS certification (or equivalent)
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
