Travel Physical Therapist - $2,408 per week
About the role
The Physical Therapist provides medically prescribed consultative and therapeutic services to restore function and prevent disability in patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary disorders. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with Physical Therapy/Hospital Policy, as well as state and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide integrated care.
- Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures and home exercise programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, or Certificate degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current California Physical Therapy license.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current status.
- Previous Acute Care Hospital experience preferred.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in acute care settings.
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
This position operates on a 4x10 schedule, from 06:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
