About the Role
Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to medically complex patients recovering from critical illness, injury, or surgery at Regency Hospital of Toledo, a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) in Toledo, OH. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team in a critical illness and rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and mobility interventions
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and caregivers on mobility, safety, and home exercise programs
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and case management
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) License
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (if required)
Preferred Qualifications
- LTACH or inpatient rehabilitation experience
- Acute care or ICU experience
- Experience treating medically complex patients
- Experience with EMR documentation
Schedule
- Day Shift, 8-hour shifts
- Monday–Friday
- 40 hours per week
