Travel Physical Therapist - $2,388 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Keene, New Hampshire.

About the role

The Physical Therapist / PT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services, including providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions. The PT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. The role involves setting realistic and achievable goals, documenting patient progress, and educating patients and families on appropriate physical therapy methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.

Requirements

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
• Graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year’s experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or proactively in the process of obtaining licensure.
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
