Travel Physical Therapist - $2,384 per week

About the role

We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Myrtle Beach, SC. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. This is a 13‑week travel assignment with 32 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines for the facility
• Understand and comply with the respective PT board's rules and regulations
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged to apply); 1 year preferred
• Current BLS certification
• State‑specific Physical Therapist license
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment start
