Travel Physical Therapist - $2,373 per week

About the role

The Physical Therapist will primarily work within the Skilled Nursing Unit (SNU) and may also provide care in the joint connection unit. The position involves patient evaluation, treatment planning, and therapy interventions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services to patients in the SNU and possible acute care settings.
• Perform evaluations and assess patient conditions to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust therapy interventions based on patient progress.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records as per facility standards.

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapist License or Physical Therapist Temporary License through the West Virginia Board of Physical Therapists or Physical Therapist Compact License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
• Experience in skilled nursing, acute care, and rehabilitation settings preferred.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
