Treva Workforce is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in South Bend, Indiana.
Work Setting & Schedule
- Outpatient Physical Therapy Orthopedic Rehabilitation Clinic at Rush Physical Therapy (Select Medical)
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team
- Contract: Up to 13 Weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour evening shifts, 40 hours per week
Job Summary
Provide outpatient physical therapy services through comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions. Work closely with physicians and the rehabilitation team to help patients recover from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal conditions while improving strength, mobility, and function.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility interventions
- Modify treatment plans based on patient progress
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) License
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (if required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Outpatient orthopedic experience
- Strong manual therapy and therapeutic exercise skills
- Experience with EMR documentation
- Excellent patient education and communication skills
